Description

The listing, iPod Classic (Black) 120GB *PLEASE READ DISCRIPTION* has ended.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING:
This is a BROKEN iPod for repair, parts, or trade in value.

I found this beauty while cleaning up in my room the other day. I won this off Listia a while back, and yes I did know it was broken. It simply needs to be repaired, and when I did take it to a electronics repair store, they said it was an easy fix and would only cost 50-80 dollars. And considering a brand new Classic is about 300, I say that's a pretty good deal! I just never had the money myself.

It is also good for taking in to the Apple store and getting about 25% off on any ipod you end up buying. Or you could simply use it for parts if you know how to get it open and take a look inside. :)

Only bid if you are still wanting this piece, even knowing what is wrong and how you need to fix it.

Happy Bidding, and good luck!~

*EDIT* I will add a case if the winner so pleases

***Please contact me ASAP with your shipping address. Failure to contact me within 7 days will result in a forfeiture of your credits and a re-list of the item as per Listia rules.

***Please do not bid if you do not have an address verified through Listia, or intend to do so before the end of my auction. I will only ship to Listia verified addresses.

***Almost all of my auctions are FREE SHIPPING, and therefor since I am paying, I use the most basic available shipping. If you want upgrades such as delivery confirmation, etc, please ask... but remember that YOU must pay for the extras. (I can only take paypal at this time, which I will provide to you should you so desire)

***I do my best to package and label everything well. However, postal mishaps such as lost or damaged items do happen. If this is a concern for you, ask me about buying insurance and/or delivery confirmation.

***I appreciate communication! So, please ask about any problems BEFORE posting feedback.

I didn't want to do GIN because I wanted to give everyone a fair chance at bidding. :)

Basically when you try and turn it on, that big red X shown in the last picture comes up. I took it to an electronics repairman and he said they would basically need to replace the battery and software inside which will make it work like new. :)

Are you sure it can be fixed for $50.00 to $80.00

I'm sure, I went to an electronics repair store and he said for 80$ and then another said 50$ so I assume any place will give you around that price to pay. :) You might have to look around, but that is the general price I would suppose.

Just coming from me (computer it) I've been fixing iPods for awhile there fun. All it needs is a new hard drive (and a battery if it drains quick, otherwise not nessiscary) but you can get a hard drive, pop open the ipod unplug the old and then plug in the new. :)

Oh, really? Well, thank you! Hopefully some of the bidders see this and can see they can easily fix it themselves if they want to :)
