Questions & Comments
ONLY the person whose name it was in to start with and who reported it lost can get it taken off the list at verizon by taking the phone in and showing them it was found
just reading the comments shouldnt you have canceled this by now if you were going to?? if this is a non working phone i'd hate to see the winner losing out on their credits for something that is not working and you getting a bad feed back on your end as well just asking and voicing my opinion!
if it was reported lost and you got a replacement phone due to that then this phone is no good to be activated through verizon. that means it has a BAD ESN. and when the person wins this and gets it activated then it will be under the LOST/STOLEN category. this phone is only good for parts then. its best you provide the esn #s so everyone can check for themselves to make sure. this is a good auction otherwise
I am going to cancel this Motorola Droid Auction... Due to have to take the phone back to INS. Asurse Compnay that i report lost few months ago.. i am new with this .. it was my mistake .. i should have call before put on this ..
I'll show this to my friend later he has a droid and is having problems all the time with his phone so i'm sure he'd love to get a new phone and be willing to pay for the extra credits to get it to.
Well if he reported it lost all he has to do is take it to verizon and show that it is his phone and that he has found it for them to release it from the lost list but it has to be done by the person who bought the phone and reported it lost or stolen.
iif it was reported stolen or lost, Verizon bans the phones signature so.it can never be used again. this protects from fraud, and thieves being able to use a stolen phone. Verizon doesn't want customers using its insurance claims against them by stating phones missing then getting new one and selling supposed lost phone.
If this phone was reported stolen it is a brick. Meaning it is no good to anyone who wants it for Verizon. It will not and cannot be used on Verizon at all ever again, PERIOD. Phone can be used with companies like Cricket or Metro PC. But phone will need to be flashed for it to work on those carriers. It will cost between 50$ and $100 dollars to flash, then of course your monthly charge. Still awesome if you use one of these carriers. But garbage if you want it for Verizon. Know this before bidding folks.
I have verizon and if it is a replacment phone, do to you reported it being lost I'm not sure if it can be activated under someone elses name do to they would think that it was stolen or something. I could be wrong on this. You might want to give the esn # so people can check it though verizon first.
the phone is use as on a plan... it was use few weeks becuase it was lost til i got myself replacement new phone then later i found it .. so it still good as well.. so i swap the battery cuz it went bad.... if you need to ask me about anything else .. just feel free to ask me .. thanks
