Description

The listing, DVD: "WINTER'S BONE" WINNER OF BEST PICTURE FOR TWO AWARDS! has ended.

This is an excellent film. Someone told me it was "depressing", but I just thought it was excellent. It won the Best Picture Award for the Grand Jury Prize and Sundance Film Festival. The acting is superb. I don't know how to tell if a DVD is a Blu-Ray, lol. I need to mention that on the inside box the cellophane is ripped at the bottom and the paper is crinkled (shown in last photo). The box is completely intact and the DVD is fine and has been watched once. A great film! There are Special Features which are described on the back.
" After her deadbeat father jumps bail and mysteriously disappears, 17 year-old Ree Dolly (Jennifer Lawrence) must find a way to track him down or she'll be left without a home or custody of her two young siblings. To avoid losing everything, Ree must hack through the lies and threats looming everywhere in her rural town to piece together the dangerous truth about her father- without getting herself killed- in this taut, pulse pounding thriller ".
I'm listing this because I don't watch films twice, but this is the best movie that I have seen in a long time. Free Shipping in US only...

The best way to tell if this is a Blu-ray is to look at the disc itself (since I don't know if this is the original case, and if it is ex-Rental store, the cover art could've been printed off). The discs usually would have "Blu-ray" printed large on the disc. If it doesn't mention it, it's probably a DVD.

Blu-ray cases are almost always smaller than DVD cases as well, so if it was the original case, you'd know it. The case would be shorter, and probably Blue in color.

Thanks, Matt. I guess it is a DVD. The case is the usual size, and it does not have "Blu-ray" printed on it; it says "DVD". I don't think it is ex-rental store because I had to un-wrap it to get to it. (Is that a logical conclusion?) Normally I could just ask the person who brought it to Christmas whether it's ex-rental store, but I have no idea who brought it. I went back a couple of days later to my parents' house to get some remaining stuff and this was with it. My parents said it must be mine, but I actually think it was meant for someone else because I did not open this on Christmas day. There were nine people opening stuff on that day and somehow this ended up with my stuff. Anyway thanks for the info; this must be a DVD and not a Blu-ray.

sounds interesting. I have gotten several I need to watch, and you would think I had plenty of time to watch them, but I'm not sure where the time goes, lol

I know; I'm the same way. I'm too busy making magnets, lol. This is a good one though.
