what dose SD stand for? I'm new to the Gundam. but my husband like them. and I never heard of SD Gundam force.

In this version of the anime the SD stood for "Superior Defender". This figure is from the second longest run series of the Gundam anime. Each series is typically its own contained thing with story lines and what not and this one aired 52 episodes about 10 years ago. Unlike previous Gundam anime this one wasn't as heavy with adult themes and motifs and focused more on a simplistic story of good versus evil. Hope that helps some.
