Classic reading for kids of all ages! Written by Johann R. Wyss; colorful illustrations by Lynd Ward. This is an "Illustrated Junior Library" edition, copyrighted in 1949.

The story was first published in 1813, though it was written many years before by a Swiss pastor. It's about the Robinson family who are shipwrecked on an uninhabited desert island, and find a new world of adventure and knowledge. As they learn to cope with the many problems of life on the island, they become even closer as a family.

This book measures 8-1/4 by 5-1/2 inches, 377 pages. No paper sleeve on it. It's old, and shows it's age, but is in fairly good condition. The spine has a patch missing and there are stains on the edges and some pages.

Perfectly readable and gorgeous illustrations throughout the book.
