Unfortunately, yes. Still a great collectors item, but you do need a camera to completely enjoy playing the game.

What are you taking about? I played this game completely two nights ago with the original N64 controller. There isn't a camera extension, and if there is, it wasn't a first party controller.

I was told there is a camera accessory, like the mic for Hey You Pikachu. But maybe I'm wrong. I don't know Pokemon games well at all. I guess that's good news then.

Yeah I am pretty sure there isn't a camera thing for this... But in the game you take pictures but you just use the normal controller and press like A to take a picture and other buttons to zoom or whatever

No, only Pokemon games I've ever played are the Gameboy games. And I've only played them long enough to make sure the save works. So really, I don't know about the game play on any Pokemon games.
