what do you do with this type of yarn? It's very pretty and I wouldn't mind having it but I'd have to know what to do with it first.

Hi. mariemccarter3 in the comment above pretty much summed it up for me. Hats, scarves, baby blankets, trims. Recently I have used this type of yarn as decorative ends on each end of a solid knitted/crochet scarf or some variation of knit/crochet and pom pom on either end with a solid knit/crochet through the body of the scarf.
