The listing, Clamshell Bead or Knot Caps used to Finish Necklace Bracelet stainless steel has ended.

This is a nice hefty lot of stainless steel (silver color) clamshell knot caps.

You use these to hide the knot at the end of a string--close the clamshell around the knot, and use the little "leg" to attach your clasp. These are the sorts of "little" things that beaders MUST have, and aren't cheap (when you add them all up). See the third photo for an example (with the entire necklace in the fourth photo ... just showing off a little!). I prefer to use crimp beads so I don't use the clamshells any more.

This is the ONLY lot of clamshells I will have on Listia.
