Description

The listing, Lavender with Red Heart Rose of Sharon Tree - 25 seeds has ended.

25 seeds for the Lavender with Red Heart Rose of Sharon trees.

I have a couple trees over 7feet tall. They grow fairly easily, need proper care until they are established, and do not require a lot of watering. I know they can grow well in zones 5-8, I don't know about other zones but you can check online to make sure.

All Listia rules apply. Winner MUST provide a verified address within 7days or I keep the item and your credits. If you fail or refuse to respond to my emails, assume that I will be keeping your credits at the end of the 7days.

Hi Maria! I've heard that said. The flowers normally do not get bigger than about 4-5inches across and they are usually about 3-4inches tall. Just did a google search and a lot of people call then Rose of Sharon Hibiscus shrubs/trees. These are trees. They take about 3-4yrs before they bloom real nice. I've got about 60+ in my yard - mostly just for seeds and I only trim the trees about every 3d year - so I have a couple at 7feet tall, 6 at over 9feet tall, but most are 4-5ft tall.... Have about 20 1st and 2d year saplings at about 1-2ft tall. .I'm not sure anymore since we use to grow them up north when I was a kid - so 35+ odd years ago - and we've only ever called them "Rose of Sharon Trees". Never a reference to a hibiscus tree, which has much larger blooms and is more temperamental to grow. Some people say "hibiscus" to sell more when I see that their trees are the same thing I have. :( So, I guess it all depends on what you read and trust. I can't even remember the names of what I have - I want to say Lil' Kim and Althea, but for some reason they don't seem "correct" - know what I mean? Found one site that calls them "hibiscus syriacus". Hope this helps! Thanks for asking!

ahh yeah i go to the mariasself pinterest page because she has a ton of excellent DIY's. I really like her posts and my grandsons - the mad scientists - LOVE her toilet bombs since in a fashion they are "blowing up" the toilet while cleaning! Hilarious for sure!
