i just got back from xbox website and it shows the kit in use with an old drive and a new slim. so, i guess that it works for the new ones also.:)

Congrats on the find! I am sure that prices vary all around. There are also generics (non-official Microsoft products) that are sold for that cheap as well...
For the genuine product, I would gladly pay 130 credits, knowing that everything is official and guaranteed to work. Thank you for your insight though :-)

It would be a shame IMHO if it went for any less credits...

Look on Amazon. They are listed all day long for around $10 to $15... I actually did a *little* looking into it... I know there are other sited than Amazon, but they are one of the most trustworthy retailers on the net and where I buy most things online.
