The listing, HP windows 7 laptop has ended.

HP windows 7 laptop only about 2 years old it has sat on my desk since getting it I went to turn it on 1 day and the screen turns acts like its turning on and then it shuts off I cant get it to stay on any longer than a few secs I don't know whats wrong with it its been well took care of I live alone so no one has messed with it if you need any other info I will try to get it for you but I don't know much about computers I will do my best it comes with the charger its pretty heavy so I am charging shipping but if it gets over 20000 I will do free shipping on it

Do you still have the manual and cds and the windows 7 cd for the laptop ??

I probably do somewhere but im not certain about that all I know for a fact that I have is the laptop itself and the charger

honestly I am not sure from what everyone is saying in the comments it sounds like an easy fix for someone that knows what they are doing but I don't know what im doing with it

New heat synk. I cleaned mine and does not over heat and shut down any more. Many computers need it after a couple of years. Just scrap it off put more on. Easy to do. There are you tube videos on how to do it

From the 6th picture you have it might just need the windows reinstalled cuz the operating system is corrupted !!

Does it every come up with a screen that asks you to select like last best known configuration, boot into windows, safe mode, safe mode from network, and safe mode from command prompt?

Cuz if it doesn't more likely your system is shutting down cuz your CPU (central processing unit) is getting to hot mainly from your fans not working... The reason it will do that to prevent more damage to the system motherboards on computers/laptops and etc have features like that !! But mainly in stuff that's like less then 6 years old I would guess :-) good luck on your auction !! I'm not a computer expert but I know enough to get me by and all of the stuff I have learned is from T & E.. trial & error !! Once again good luck and take care :-)

If it keeps rebooting it could be various things... From a bad motherboard, system getting to hot it will shut down from the CPU (central processing unit) getting hot it can cause it to shut down, system fans might not be working that can cause it from shutting down and there are other things out there !! What model? What does it have for a processor and RAM? Does it come with power supply (cord)?

I looked it up online its an HP mircosoft it comes with power cord intel cleron inside windows 7 home prem OA 14 inch screen online it says 2.3GHZ Processor 2GB RAM 500GB Hard Drive that's what I found about it online I hope its correct

yes it comes with windows 7 but that cpu was designed back with windows xp alot of companys do that for lower end sytems I do know quite a bit about pc's And on lower end systems i always recomend xp xp on that system would be faster then free burgers at mcdonalds

CPU is correct as it does say celron... which means it shouldnt have anything other then windows xp that pc cpu will max with windows 7 and a browser open.. Does it boot the Bio's screen Would say HP and have a few options on the bottom?? If the awnser is no I would guess the mobo is fried or the cpu fan is dead.. Does it try to boot windows?? if no or it gives an error might just need the os re-installed which that pc comes with a recovery partition simple fix

all I know is the sticker on the bottom says windows 7 home prem OA I assume that meant it was windows 7 like I stated I don't know much about laptops I used it for facebook and that was all

not smart to put a pick of the COA peeps can still it and that labtop would be done for to who ever gets it and would wind up having to buy a new OA code Just letting u know why i wouldn't bid on it But good luck,,, and take the ram out and put it back in it should boot all the way up
