As you can see, it does have some wrinkles & staining, but there are no rips, tears or holes.

I can vouch, it's legit. I have one in my collection already, otherwise I'd bid. If you do research, you'll find a lot of countries that have used 'foreign' currency at one point or another. They're usually "occupation notes" (when that country has been occupied by another, usually during a military conflict). Don't be afraid to bid because the above person was ill-informed. It's a legit bill, and somewhat rare as well. Occupation notes are typically hard to come by.

Anyone truly interested in this item doesn't NEED its entire history spelled out. They're already educated on the subject or they wouldn't be looking at it in the first place.

this was used in the Philippines when Japan governed the Philippines. I have one of these. Great auction BTW!!!!
