Also the battery life on mine was awful. How long on this one friend?

The battery on these, first thing you need to remember and follow is always fully charge your battery for maximum use. The very first 2 times you charge this it should be 6 hrs long. then after that a 4hr charge should be enough. The battery life on these are about 4-5 hrs. before needing to be plugged in. And also depends on what you are doing also, some things pull more power than others. I have a NOOK HD which I basically read on and that battery will last me 12-15 hrs. but I am only reading. Now when my granddaughter uses hers and she is playing games etc. she gets about 4-5 hrs battery life.

I had a couple of android pads and had no luck with them. They called for a cell phone , all that. Can you tell me what games you can get on your pads friend for free? thanks!

The only reason they should have needed a cell phone is that is where they were getting their wifi connection from. You do need to have a wifi connection somewhere around you that the tablet can hone in on. And if you leave that area, you just do the search for another connection, it does not cost you anything. Almost everywhere now days has free wifi. I flew to Portland in May & I was able to be connected while we were in the air. As far as games, some are free and some you have to pay to download, you just have to ask around and see. A hint I can give you is if you go to say goggle apps-games. a keyboard will show up on the bottom, switch to the numbers side and type in $0.00, this will bring up all the apps that are free on that site, and it works on all sites. A guy in Barnes & Noble store showed me this, which I did not know, I had been buying books all along, then he showed me that and I haven't paid for one since. This is something that is NOT is the manual because they don't want people to know they can get games, apps, books, etc for free. They want them to buy them. So I hope I have answered your question.

No they aren't, they are brand new tablets. Good question thou, because they do sell refurbished tablets, and a lot of people may not know that. But these are brand new ones.
