I do spray them with poly so they are pretty durable. I had my Christmas one outside all winter and only had a little wear, I just used a little fine steel wool on it and sprayed anpther coat of poly that you can buy at walmart for under $4 and its like brand new. Sorry to hear about your father, may he RIP.

I have actually only done one like that and it was for my father. Inbox me on facebook and I can send you a pic of what I did. I will say it does take a little bit of time to do one like this but I have no problem doing one.

So i'm guessing it's made out of wood and it's hand painted? and will this be shipped in a box?

Yes made of wood and hand carved, no machine, and yes hand painted. All my signs are shipped in boxes and very carefully rapped to prevent damage.

yes all hand carved and hand painted. Wood is stained. And yes will be shipped in a box and packaged so it can not be damaged.

I sent a photo to your number, if you have an email, sometimes the pictures look better on email. My phone is older model and doesnt take very good pics.
