Google has a free service and Skype, you can use this for your dictation or dragon naturally speaking software to ease pressure off of your carpel tunnelled wrists and fingers!! I bought it to use for dictation but never got in a peaceful place to use it!! Bid to win it!! So, get one for practically free here from me!! Excuse the webcam picture its backwards on the words!!

does this only work for computers, or can this work with an ipod touch?

Why would you want to use that with the ipod touch?? I would imagine that it is used for what it says on the computer and for VOIP!!!

I found this info on the use of this microphone The Multimedia PC, or MPC, was a recommended configuration for a PC with a CD-ROM drive. Cyber Acoustics PCvoiceLink Specs: None, Microphone, Black, Mini-phone 3.5 mm plug now a phone such as the ipod touch has no CD ROM right that should answer your question on what this microphone will work with! I hope this helps you out!!

Well I did get a little miffed because i have no idea about this technical issue!1 I am still learning about these technologies that are ruining our lives with the stay connected to something all the time!! Glad you did ask because I learned something too!! However you need a CD ROM for it to be a multimedia device!!
