Good question.

It was working for the previous owner and worked for me for a short while. Than I left it on my desk for a year and when I tried to power it up, it didn't work for me.

I'm moving my antiques warehouse next month and need to get things that are not my focus out of my way so I don't have to move them. :) More cool stuff coming!

Oh and I should mention that I just powered it up when I got it, glanced at the books she had, opened one and put the Kindle down. I didn't try all the features and functions, but she told me it worked fine.
