supposedly it keeps the mosquitos away its also called a castor bean tree but I have always known them as mosquito trees.

This is a great fast growing tree.full grown in 100 days.beautiful leaves can make fountain molds from leaves.....I love mine....cannot stand full winters or frost will die....but how awesome...it does discourage Mosquitos BUT.... It will attract bees,wasps,bumbles,everything stingy.....but ....the neater somehow calms them to where they aren't interested in us.....you can also break off a branch stick it in a pot or ground and within two weeks it will root and can be planted....again great tree.twelve to sixteen feet tall.....very toxic to animals,humans....beans are risen used as poison long ago.....please do homework before you bid.no offense to anyone here but very dangerous plant if not respected.....good luck guys

I kinda thought those seeds looked like castor beans...I got some to try out as a gopher repellant, but I'd never heard that they repel mosquitos too - cool!
