1 cute little Ammonite fossil! It is in wonderful condition- the lines throughout the fossil are prominent. The last photo shows a possible minor defect where there appears to be the tiniest chip at the end of the mollusk. However, it looks like it is part of the fancy frilling.

Ammonite is a fossil that is over 100 million years old! It is a fossilized, hard shell of an ancient, extinct mollusk. The look of the Ammonite resembles tightly coiled horns of the ram. Please don't confuse this Ammonite with the colourful Ammolite. Ammolite is the opalized gem quality version of Ammonite.

Thickness ranges from *about 1/4" to 1/3."
