This item is for hanging in a doorway. The strings of beads hang from a wooden bar. There are 2 eye screws on the top of the bar. To hang it, I screwed 2 hook screws inside the top of the doorway, and then hung the wooden bar from the eye screws onto the hooks; very simple, and I will include all the hardware needed to hang it. The beads are wooden and include red, black, green and natural colored beads that are strung so that when the beads are still, you see an image of a butterfly- very lovely!! It's not heavy, and contrary to what you may think when you think of anything beaded, this tem is made with the highest quality and is extremely durable. (I used in in the doorway of my children's room!). The width is 35 1/2" and the length is 72". Because it won't fit in a flat rate box as it is an odd shape to package for shipment, I can not offer free shipping, sorry.
