my question is Why is there fluid in it, they don't come pre filled with fluid, so it is used? You have to fill it yourself with lighter fluid?

Hmmm...it sounded like there was? No. I won it. I peeled the red sticker off two weeks ago. As you can see in the second picture, or perhaps for your satisfaction, I will list another of the wick, Showing...it's never been lit. I have no use for a lighter. Nor have I ever owned a zippo. So, seeing as I've never attempted to light it and it SOUNDED like there was fluid, I am most likely wrong.

A flag went up when I read your post about your item, no lighter fluid is in those lighters when they are brand new in the box, becareful on how you present yourself and your items,,

Like I said previously, I've never owned one. It sounded like there was fluid. I do appreciate your concern though. As I'm sure there have been other people who have wondered the same!
