up for auction are 8 genuine amethyst 8 X 6 millimeter loose stones. I know the picture only shows 7, but I added an extra one to make each bag even. These are excellent quality stones ready to be set.

Weighing the pros and cons... But thinking logically, I have just enough credits for the bid on the lowest Opal auction. So even though Opal is my favorite (and birth stone ironically) I know the price is going to atleast double so I'd rather get amethyst rather than miss both the amethyst and Opal.
