Description

The listing, CONFEDERATE STATES AMERICA 20.00 BILL has ended.

Super GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO OWN AN antique AND PIECE OF history. THIS IS A (20.00) twenty dollar PAPER BILL ISSUED IN RICHMOND, VA ,FEBRUARY 17TH 1864. issue # IS SOMEWHAT NOT TOO CLEAR TO READ, BUT TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE IT LOOKS LIKE 15075 OR 15785? Someone with a magnifying glass will be able to read it when they get it. THIS BILL too is also signed at the bottom corners too.All who are collectors of this type of money knows it's value. GREAT OPPORTUNITY for a past piece of slowly dying history. I happen to find this 10.00 and 20.00 Bills inside of an old 1800's BIBLE I purchased at an antique shop sitting on the bottom shelf gathering dust and had been in the shop since it's opening and the lady sold me the BIBLE for only 10.00. She nor I knew the bills were even in it until I got home and sit down to look through every page of this great BOOK. I called her back, because she was a friend of mine and she said to just keep it if it was there. She was going to clean the shop out of old things not sold and take them to a goodwill. Thanks I got it. Thanks to all who look and Happy Bidding. FREE SHIPPING IN USA ONLY. Outside of USA will be based on the calucalated shipping from address and zip code. (20.00 Bill pictured is the only item here for auction). Other Bill is listed seperate.

Thank I am glad you like them. And yes they are real. I am doing this because I hae been blessed and I want other s to share in some happiness right now, because the economy is not good for some people who have lost a job. This doll might even put food on the table for someone or clothers on a childs back or pay for medical bills. Who knows. Whatever the person chooses to do with the doll after they win her is absolutely up to them the "NEW OWNER". Thanks for looking and I am so glad you feel supprised. At least it makes someone happy. Thanks sweetie and keep watching.

Hi! I was wondering if the bill is folded or torn just to the left of the center. In the photo, the line of words seems to be offset, and that is the only thing I can think of that would cause that. Cheers.

For those who wondered about the 20 dollar bill being town and re-attached... paper money was hard to come by during that time. Often, if a person had a 20 and needed to pay 10, he might tear the 20 in half and use the halves as 10 each. If he was later in a position to acquire half of a bill he tore, he would re-attach the pieces in whatever way he could. I received a bill from the Confederate State of Louisiana as a gift, and it was torn like this. That is a reasonable thing to expect to find in authentic money from a Confederate State.
