what is the going price for 1 gram of silver or brass right now?

31.1 GRAMS in One Troy Ounce, plain jane 1 ounce silver bars and rounds are trading on Ebay around $32-$36 each, anything unique or graded is more. I don't know about the price of fine brass, but the price per pound for #1 scrap brass is in the $2-$3 range. Thanks for the question and for looking.

silver 1 g = 88 cents
Brass almost nothing, about $2 a pound.
