FREE: BNIP....Beautiful Earrings

F&W&B... Great earrings... May I make a suggestion or give u a tip on when u ship these? I had 2 incidents where jewelry was shipped in envelopes and the mail sorter ripped the bottom of the envelope just enough where one fell out and the other was damaged. I spoke with my post master and he gave me some tips and I would love to pass them along so that everyone gets their items and gets them intact. First he told me to write on the front and bacK of the envelope in large bold letters "PLEASE HAND SCAN!!! FRAGILE ITEM (even if it isn't fragile, that way the will not run it through the mail sorter). Secondly put the jewelry item in a little zip lock bag or zip lock jewelry bag and put the item in it and tape it to a piece of printer paper, notebook paper or a index card and fold it like a letter. And last but not least if you can hand it to someone in the post office, instead of dropping it in the letter box. The last one is not a must but it helps. I hope I didn't overstep my boundaries here, I just want everyone who mails out jewelry items to know this so that everyone on both ends (buyer & seller) are happy. I hope this helps and maybe some ppl who didn't know this will see this and know now and maybe you could let some of ur friends know also or someone ur getting jewelry from. Thank you so much for the great info!! I've had a couple of issues where I received empty envelopes (the item had fallen out) it's so frustrating!! I always put my items in plastic baggies and then wrap them in tissue paper or bubble wrap...then I put them in a padded envelope. I do receive alot of things in plain envelopes...I hope everyone reads your post....it would alleviate alot of problems!!!
