FOUR different designs, made for only 3 months each were issued. To the coin collector, these are TYPE COINS, and a Lincoln penny set will not be complete without one of each of these designs. So many Americans have never even seen these coins because as quickly as they were put out in change, they were grabbed and put away by those lucky enough to find them.
