This ring has a red heart shaped gem..not sure if its real. But the band is 18k gold. It is size 7 1/2

you are right...I looked at the ring in the sun today and It looks like an 18 but can also be a 10. Bidders, please only bid as if this was a 10k. just incase. I dont want to be dishonest. I paid nothing for this ring , and I dont have time to take it to a jeweler to find out.

if its stamped 18kt an doesnt have GEP, GF in the stamp it may be a very light colored ruby. Garnets tend to be a deeper red in color and most rubies tend to be a pinkish to a red...

if you see CZ then its a CZ ruby more than likely. Which means its a basic man made diamond thats been colored that way to resemble a ruby or a possible garnet. Technically still a diamond, just more common in plated, or gold filled rings. You can get CZ in 10kt and higher as well, its not uncommon. You can chose CZ;s instead of nature made diamonds to reduce price of your jewerly and its got its perks, I own several pieces myself...They keep a sparkle longer and affordability of a CZ is way way cheaper...for the same look. No one knows if its real either unless you give up the dirt lol. nice auction F&W

It is uncommon to see 18k with a cz , it's too high of a gold count , it is beautiful none the less.

If it is real gold, it may be a lab created ruby. All the characteristic of genuine but too perfect and made in a lab! Cz is not a lab created ruby!
