The listing, Mrs. Beasley Doll has ended.
Remember the show Family Affair? This doll was an icon of tht era. She is in mint condition. Has been kept in taped box. No tears or soiling of outfit- in mint condition. Beautfiul doll for th eright person who remembers that era or even for today's little girl!
I was to young to remember the show but for some reason I had the doll and I loved it. My brother riped her head off and I was devestated. I'm bidding!!
Why don't you have the glasses. She had glasses on the show with Buffy and Jody. Does she say the 11 sayings? How tall is she? I am asking all these questions because I used to have one-lol.
I'm a newbie too. You would be surprised how easy it is to get credits!I liked hearing your story, though. Seems this little lady is taking us all back to that time.
My little sister gave Mrs Beasly to me when I was a kid, and I still miss them both (my sister, and my doll.) Sis passed away a few years ago. That is a very special doll. If I had enough credits, I would outbid everyone for her. Sadly, am a newbie, with minimal credits.
I've had the doll since I divorced my Ex, so it's been about 9 years. I highly suspect that the Ex took the glasses because he knew how much I loved the doll. (ou gotta know my Ex to really understand.)
When I was a little girl, that's what my brother did to mine! My grandmother used that old-fashioned bandage tape to wrap it back on and it actually held! Then he ripped her body in half and my grandmother had to sew her back together again!
