For decades these have been used in clothing manufacturing. When the garment is completed, these are used to "snip" off any remaining threads hanging off. If they are metal, they are better made and of value to anyone who sews, designs, or in any way creates clothing or sewn goods. If I had more points, I would go for these!
Super cool info, thanks for sharing! I am sure they have quite a few uses...and they are perfectly good as regular scissors for cutting paper & opening bubble mailers. :)
Yep, jovigirl4ever and leeceys have it correct. :) The sheep shears mentioned above is sort of correct also, but those would be around a foot long, perhaps bigger even? It's been a long time.
Yes, at about 4 inches long, I think these are a bit small for sheep shears, but hey...maybe it's a small sheep. :) heehee :) Thanks for writing and have a super awesome day!!! :)
