The listing, Vintage Lorgnettes 1950's Folding Lucite Rhinestone Opera Glasses has ended.

These Opera Lucite Folding Glasses' were quite the rage with the European jet set in the 1950s and it didn't take long for the wealthy people of America who were patron's of the Opera to have there own pair.
Gently used and just so adorable.

No warranty with this Auction as this is a vintage item and has been used in the past.

All Listia rules apply.

I will only except a MONEY ORDER FROM THE POST OFFICE if buyer is in U.S.A.
If out of U.S. I will discuss options with the winner.
Shipping is $4.60 in the U.S.A. and If shipped over sea's a flat rate shipping fee will be used.

Hi Dee, Yes there were I replaced them and yes they are intact! and are in pretty nice shape. The rhinestones are AB and slightly larger then what is in them but it does not take away from them. I have been researching a lot about these Glasses and quite a few have rhinestones missing from them. So far mine are the only I can find on the market with the original case still with the glasses' I hope this answers your Question. if you would like to know anything else about them let me know.

They are not loose or weak or cracked and I think the lens's are a 2.0 if that's how you type the Magnification rating. and about those rhinestones since I replaced the ones that were lost the glasses have a more popping effect.
