Silly question..... But does this require anything else to work? Like a sd card?

It's not a silly question at al. No SD or memory card required. It has built-in memory. It also has a built-in battery so the cable that's included will charge the iPod. You'd just need a computer to transfer music to the iPod.

No it's been formatted back to its original settings. It's really easy to load music to it. You can find YouTube videos to show you how to do it.

It doesn't have wifi. You download music to it by connecting it to your computer.
