This listing is for one cotton boll. And, no, I didn't spell that wrong. It is a BOLL which is the cotton with the seeds inside and the hull attached, with a short stem on the bottom. If you want to take the seeds out of the boll, you can use them to grow your own cotton plants. Or, if you want to use the boll as a display or souvenir from the state of Mississippi, leave it whole. I don't know how many seeds are in the cotton boll. I do know there are more than one. Other than that, you'd have to take it apart to find out. This comes from a plant in Mississippi but I do not know the variety of the plant, just that it's cotton.
