These seeds are from Buddleia Black Knight but seeds are open pollinated (meaning that they may not come true from seed). The species these seeds came off of is a beautiful deep purple color. Seeds have been stored well and have already went through a cold stratification period so they should just need planted and watered. Butterfly bushes are cold hardy down to zone 5. Can grow to 10 feet. Best to prune way back in the early spring for those in zones 5 & 6, I prune mine to the ground in zone 5. Flowers bloom on new wood. This shrub is great for attracting butterflies, hummingbirds, and many other pollinators!!!
