The listing, Uncirculated 2012 National Park Quarters, Complete "D" Set, 5 Coins has ended.

I have for auction a 2012 National Park Quarters complete "D" set of 5 coins, all uncirculated. The set consists of the following:

2012D Puerto Rico's El Yunque Nat'l Forest (coin released Jan 23, 2012)

2012D New Mexico's Chaco Culture Nat'l Hist. Park (released April 2, 2012)

2012D Maine's Acadia Nat'l Park (released June 11, 2012)

2012D Hawaii's Hawaii Volcanoes (released Aug 27, 2012)

2012D Alaska's Denali Nat'l Park (released Nov 5, 2012)

These coins were removed from the rolls from the US mint using cotton gloves, to protect the integrity and value of each of the 5 coins listed here.

This is a beautiful set and would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

Maybe you don't understand the meaning of an "uncirculated" coin. A coin which is uncirculated is one which has gone from the US mint directly into a protective holder. It has not been released with the rest of the coins and put in circulation. Most coins that are uncirculated have only been handled with 100% cotton gloves, to avoid getting fingerprints/oils on the coins surface. Yes, there are coins in each of the categories above that ARE in circulation today. The ones in this auction, however, have never been.
