The listing, SURVIVALIST: MIRACLE EDIBLE TREE has ended.

MIRACLE TREE - 5 LARGE SEEDS!!
Morenga Oleifera

GROW HEALTHY FOOD ~ 15-20 FEET IN FIRST YEAR!

Used for over 2,000 years by ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans, this fast growing tree has the ability to save the world's entire populous of men, women, children, and livestock from both hunger and malnutrition.

Growing up to 20 feet in the first year this slim tree with its overhanging branches filled with cream-colored and sweet smelling flowers and long seed pods has a multitude of rich benefits and practical uses not found in any other tree on earth!

HUNGER: The seeds can be eaten raw, baked, roasted or cooked, the white flowers and long pods can be deep fried or cooked into stews, and leaves can be eaten and treated much like spinach-eaten from the tree, added to salad or cooked into your favorite recipes. (Do not eat the roots of this tree)

NUTRITION: Each serving of Morenga contains 40% protein, including 2 times more protein than found in milk and 4 times more calcium. Morenga has more potassium than a banana, and up to 7 times the vitamins found in carrots and oranges. This tree produces the healthy benefits of iron, antioxidants, fights the common cold, and can even purify water. The lists of qualities are virtually too long to list!

To reap the benefits of this tree, keep it constantly pruned back to either a hedge or small 8-10' tree as the flowers & pods grow nearer the top and become hard to reach.

HT: 15-20' the first year! ZONES: 9-10 Perennial. Fast growing annual everywhere else that will dye back at frost.

Not for this fast growing tree! At 15-20 feet per season it can be treated as a reseeding annual and even lined up and grown as bushes. There is a literal worldwide movement to see the Morenga tree grown in every backyard across the planet. Calling it a miracle is no hype...this 'super hardy tree' literally could put an end to hunger, malnutrition and starvation, all of which is simply amazing to me.

If cold weather makes the tree die back, will it come back in the Spring or does it have to be replanted?

A lot depends on the freeze factor and how established the tree. But the beauty is...it doesn't matter if it dies completely...just stick another seed in the ground and voila...another tree averaging 20 feet in a single warm season will shoot up! Just think of it as a super duper annual. Besides, we don't want to treat it as a long term ornamental tree which would then place all the valuable edible parts out of reach at the top.

Yuppers! Just treat it like a tomato and plant 1 or 5 seeds in a row as a low growing hedge at 4-5' (or as a little tree at 8-10) A regiment of pruning the top will make it fuller and keep the good stuff accessible for ya Maria :)

So you can eat everything on the tree but the roots?

Or you can eat the leaves/tender branches?

Looks awesome and amazing 8)

Refer you to Straw Bale Gardens.com and the writing of Joel Karsten. He's got me and some friends all primed up for this "container" garden. I've got 14 bales outside right now getting conditioned for spring. Worth your checking this out.
