honest question here....why are people paying so much for silver on here? I'm being serious...trying to figure out what I'm missing. If my math is correct listia credits are supposed to be/are sold as about 500 credits per dollar. so at 45,000 credits that makes the bid value of this coin $90? and with spot at $20/oz...that's more than 4 times the value?

I keep seeing this all over listia and I'm trying to figure out what I'm missing? Can someone please explain or help me understand?

Perhaps someone will give their opinion......I consider the credits at 1000+ based on Listia's Reward Store. Thank you for your comment.

I did too...figured them at 1000=$1 until I looked at the purchase credits area and auctions. but even with that I'm confused because these sell for $24-27 on ebay and I've seen most of them going for 40-50k on here...prefer $40-50 which is almost double. that's why I was really hoping someone could help me figure out what I am missing because obviously I must be the only one missing it. lol

Speculation, I suppose, that they are a good future investment. I know of people buying and holding on to them for their kids.....perhaps someone else will throw in a comment that will help you....

My answer...only speculation, but I would think I would weigh in how you get your credits. Buy them, no way! Auctioning off something and getting more credits than the item is worth and then getting something that may or may not be worth more sooner or later if you are willing to hold onto it...like .999 silver, probably a decent investment. I may be wrong?

I agree fully and buying credits is definitely out of the question....Thank you for commenting, Ray, and for bidding before and now.
