Man, it's just a shame what happened to him in later stories. He railed against the state of the Post-Crisis DCU, just imagine how he'd react to the New 52.

It's great you posted this--I've been building up a collection of all the Crisis on Infinite Earths tie-ins.

Can I ask you this--were you pro-Pre-Crisis DCU or pro-Post-Crisis DCU?

I have always been a fan of the campy comics from the pre-Green Lantern 76. I liked to fantastical nature , imagination and the fact they weren't trying to make it reflective of life nor any thing like that. I am not a "Dark Knight" fan per-say. I liked all the kryptonite, blue,white, silver, red, as well as green and any other. I think modern comics are relying on art imitating life over the past few decades.Not everyone mind you but the industry treads them selves.
