Not really sure how to categorize this, but it's a very cute Cut Crystal Turtle I brought back from the Czech Republic(which used to be Czechoslovakia, world renowned for it's cut crystal glass vases , chandeliers, jewelry , ect.) I bought this in a High end store, in what is called OLD TOWN , the oldest city center there, in Old Prague , which is a gorgeous old city , some say more beautiful than Paris!! If you've never been this is the next best thing! To own a piece of this famous cities, most famous export item!! It's a fantastic gift for anyone who loves cut crystal or has a passion for turtles!! (We live on "Turtle Island " as it is known by Native Americans. The alternate name for North America(and I like it better myself! Nothing against Amerigo Vespucci!!But I just like the sound of the name "Turtle Island"!! It's a great stocking stuffer and an original gift, no-one else will have!! I found similar cut glass turtles on other sites ranging from $15 (from India , or made with Swarovski components)up to $400 (Daum Nancy) the average being $100 to $150 This one is new , in the box, (I did open it to take the Pics),similar Baccarat Turtles were $90 (and up).
