The listing, Apple IBook G4 has ended.

What I know about this IBook G4:

OS: Mac OS X 10.3.9
Processor: Power PC G4 1.2 GHz
Memory: 256 MB on main board
2 spots for memory cards under airport
under keyboard (unsure of size.type)
Hard Drive: 20GB
Disk Drive cdrw/dvd combo
Battery: Fair, holds charge for a short time
Charger : good condition
Software: standard with OS and Itunes
WIFI: integrated Air Port has good pick up

The system does have some music on it. Previous owner has stickers all over it and tried to remove them, so there are some dirty sticky spots on cover and keyboard, some can be seen in the pictures. It has a stuck key that makes typing a challenge, I used a USB keyboard to get past this issue.

Anyone who knows something more about this type of system please provide information in the comments below.

I can not yet offer a GIN but will offer free shipping IF biding goes over 20,000. Otherwise shipping will be to location. I have not boxed it yet so I can not give a good estimate but expect it to be boxed in 12 X 12 X 5 and weight about 5 LBS as system according to Apple is 4.1 LBS plus charger and packing. If it goes to free shipping level of bid I will send flat rate which is $16.85.

Not sure, I only unplugged it to move it from room to room. never left it unplugged long.

In regards to MS Office, Microsoft has actually produced its office suite for Mac since 1989 so no emulator is required. It looks like the 2004 office suite is the last compatible suite for this laptop: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/871018 and its selling really low on ebay $3.99 in one case http://www.ebay.com/itm/Microsoft-Office-Mac-Student-and-Teacher-2004-CD-Rom-w-keys-/301026668981?pt=US_Office_Business_Software&hash=item46169671b5 which is a great deal :)

that is the name of the wifi device used in the IBook. It is called an Air Port, guess that was Apples way of saying wireless port.

air port (wifi) works perfect. Has good reception even at a distance. my house is old lath and plaster, it gets great reception even 2 stories above the wifi modem.
