Found in my late Grandmother's jewelry collection. Must have been a gift from one of her brothers on one of their excursions to Europe.

Definitely a rare piece of travel history.

The shell used as the hull of the ship looks to be a darker abalone or similar shell. There's a small star dangling from the bottom that contains a small rhinestone or crystal. The metal has sort of a coppery gleam to it. Still has all the original patena. The word "sister" is scripted from a single piece of twisted wire.

2" long by 1" high.

There are no jewelers markings on this piece.
