This is a very pretty ring! This is another one I won at the same auction as the last ring! The style is different the first ring had the three stones together, but this ring has three darker red ruby stones that have a separation between each one! A very nice style! This is new it came in a box with no tag on the ring but on the box! It would retail for about $80 to
$90. The ring is set in 925 sterling silver! It is a
size 7! It would make a great valentine's gift!

Beautiful ring!!! I have seen Ruby's in all shades of red. My mother has a Pigeons Blood Ruby that is a dark red color. I'll be watching!

Rubies come in a number of different shades of pink, red and purple/red. One quality of the ruby is that it does not change color in different lights. The red garnet, which is often mistaken for a ruby, does. Don't let the idiots get you down.

I ship jewelry to Canada all the time. It is $1.23 vs 1.22 to US. I put clothing accessory on the custom form and have shipped all around the world that way and never had a problem

TRue...I have seen rubys as orange as a sunset and rubys as pink as grapefruit. I had a ring handed down to me thats over 100 yrs old. It's main stone was a ruby.This ruby was like a bloodorange color. I have also studyed all gemstones and found the older jewelry that has rubys you will notice have a orangeish color not so dark maoon red. and most the expensive ones are these older kinds that are transperant not so dark red that u cannot see threw them. Spirit3 u know ur stuff:) Let me know if u ever see an orange old sckool gem. Because they are not able to find a ruby as pure anymore. Unfortuatly almot all rubys are manufactured anymore due to quantity demand and minning this presious resource way to much. U are lucky to have rubys nice ring!!

I have a ruby and diamond bracelet that is the same color as your ruby. I was going thru my jewelry boxes the other day, found it, it is 9,25 , and it is going up for auction soon. I got a bunch of jewelry boxed, and I have some turquoise to give a way too, none of that Tibetan crap, it is American Indian.

Would you be willing to ship to Canada if I paid the difference in shipping costs? The person who commented about never knowing rubies to be pink should have just looked online for 30 seconds before making a comment. People shouldn't talk about stuff that they have no idea about. Rubies do come in pinks, purples,reds, orange reds and pinkish orange. The pinkish orange ones have a special name and are extremely valuable. My hubby is in to gems and we have rubies that are red but also pinkish ones and even purplish red star rubies that are more purple than red.

Thanks for all the input about rubies! I never shipped to canada before so I would have check into it, and find out what I would have do, I know I was told once if it was jewelry they charge twice as much I don't know why that is! Not feeling good today
