Purple Passion Vine (Gynura sarmentosa) - to 2 feet, This trailing house plant is grown for its striking foliage. Its soft, hairy, velvety leaves are olive green covered with tiny bright-purple hairs that give the leaves a purple hue. New leaves are the most colorful. The leaves are held on bright-red stems and trail a couple of feet. It looks especially nice in a hanging basket.

A live plant with established roots will be sent out to the winner. These plants are beautiful and make a wonderful gift!

I understand that the leaves should not get wet. Is that correct?

I have gotten mine wet, no issue. I also heard if you touch them they ruin and I've toucbdx mine all over. They look great. They aren't as delicate as they look.

I have not had one of these plants since my pet groundhog ate mine they are such beautiful plants thanks for sharing it with us

I love these! Had one back in the late 70's, went to boot camp (8 weeks) came home on leave and it was still going strong. My mom couldn't climb the stairs to water it. It also had yellow flowers that were striking with the purple. F&W
