Welcome to my auction! I bought a new house and a friend gave me a tote full of Canna bulbs as a house warming gift. She said they would multiply every year. I planted about 60 bulbs. WOW, she wasn't kidding. I now have 5 overloaded wheel barrels of bulbs! So I thought I would share with other flower lovers.

I was told to till sand into the soil when planting. This helps to loosen the bulbs when digging them up for the winter. I stored mine in a plastic tote and layered with SPAGUM MULTCH. Keep them in a cool place for winter. (Garage)

The pics are stock photos from the internet. My bulbs grew anywhere from 4' - 6' tall. Cannas prefer full sun, but will grow in parcial shade. I only watered them when I planted & maybe 5x during summer. They are very low maintenance and a stunning garden addition.

I live in Indiana and they thrived in the heat. Zone 6.
