Description
The listing, Colonel's Patch! has ended.
This is a very neat little patch that was worn on the chest of the uniform. It is an eagle with spread wings (Colonel's Rank) between oakleaf clusters. Olive and black, these are quite rare I am told, and guess so as I have never seen another. Well, it's time to let someone else have the pleasure of enjoying it for their collection!!!!! Very Nice!
Questions & Comments
Any pictures of this one? Do you know when the Colonel wore it? Is it WWII vintage or later?
Sorry, can't get a pic of this one up. It is a small patch used to show the rank, sewn to hat, helmet cover or uniform. The officer served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Gave him a call, he says he is pretty sure it was WWII. He retired as a General by the way.
