Yeah, they ARE fun, and now that you can get film for them again, their popularity is coming back. It's been several years since you've been able to get film. They quit making it, and all the Polaroids have been lying dormant in people's closets all this time.

what kind of power source does it use?

The batteries to power it are included inside the film pack. Polaroid did that so you'd always have fresh batteries with the film.
