Up for auction is a code that is redeemable on Xbox Live for a Covenant Banshee avatar prop. This is an *exclusive* avatar prop that comes with purchase of a new controller. (You cannot buy this prop on the Xbox Live Avatar Marketplace, the only way you can get it is with the use of a code such as this one. Similar props sell for up to $5, and can go for as much as $15.)

Well, today is your lucky day because you dont have to buy a new controller to get my code(s)!!

I dont know why someone keeps flagging my auction now. I got a comment about some codes were free or something, but I dont know what they were talking about. I bought 25 of these codes originally online for contests and for friends. I had about 12 left when I started listing them here. I have already auctioned off 6 of them, have 2 more pending (that went with 48 hr gold passes)...and I have 2 left since my last auctions ended under 600 credits. I was gonna auction off the last 2 here...and of course that is when I have issues...despite the fact that I have already completed a few auctions with 100% feedback and that others are listing the same prop...I get flagged because my item is somehow now against the rules? If that is the case then why can you list Dr. Pepper codes and coupons for free beverages? Those can be gotten for free by mail if we are talking about free stuff here... Not trying to be rude, but it is a little ridiculous...

Yes, it was iXtreme that flagged mine too (which is ironic because the iXtreme firmware is what allows you to mod the Xbox 360 and pirate games if we want to talk about "illegal" free stuff here...lol)

Well, that is pretty weak in my opinion... Just because some people were able to get some for free at one point in time makes it a valid reason to flag my auctions (according to my googling, they arent even free anymore anyway, so what is his deal?)...and on top of the fact that he had obviously no idea where I had even gotten them from! I can get more if I want - from the same person that sold me the previous 25 (he is a long time friend and gives me good deals on lots of video game stuff...bought my fatty PS3 off him for $150 years ago)...but I dont know if I want to even bother getting more to list if I am just going to get my auctions flagged every time I do.

It is especially annoying because:
(a) According to the comment he left in one of my auctions before it got removed, he had said that he flagged it because similar codes had been given out free at one point (apparently by an obscure German website a while ago according to google)...even though I had paid for mine. No one seems to be flagging the Dr. Pepper code auctions, whose codes can be obtained freely via mail...and are redeemable for video game DLC (similar in concept to avatar props).
(b) It seems like only some auctions get flagged and removed while others do not. When my auction was flagged and removed, there were 2 other auctions for identical avatar props that did not get removed (my 3-day auctions were removed yet their 7-day auctions were not). Why is this?

Anyway, I could go on and on... I appreciate your comment and thank you for the good information! :-D

Free, Code can be obtained by registering the game on THQ's website in your collection,you do this by

1. Register on this site, after you have confirmed you e-mail you will be re-driected to "My Account" now go to game registration .

2. Now you can choose console and game, choose Xbox 360 and Metro 2033

3. the game is now under "My Games" right next to "My Account" the code should be on the right side of the game.

UPDATE: It appers that you did not even need a copy of the game to register it on the THQ website

NOTE: Make sure you have your region to US and your age to over 18 when registering for an account, also it may take up to 3 accounts to get a code as the system is currently bugged

It is kind of difficult to get a hold of a mod/admin on this site. There is no direct method of PMing one when needed.

...and "Submit a Request" to state the issue and describe what the problem is. Then yo have to wait for a reply.

I agree that there are users who are blatantly auctioning off stuff that *anyone* can obtain for free...very easily. The Metro 2033 masks from THQ I already knew about, and can be obtained freely simply for registering...just like the DJ Hero 2 Tiestro packs can be obtained free from Coke Rewards simply for registering (you can go there, sign up, get the code, then press the "Back" button in the browser and get another code in seconds). One could literally have 100 DJ Hero Tiestro codes free of charge in under a hour with how easy it is to do...

It is pretty ridiculous how stuff like that is ok to list, yet you are given a hard time with an adidas outfit... Sucks.

What I would do is re-post your Adidas outfit auction (as I just looked through the listed auctions and found that there were other Adidas outfits posted)...and in the description/comments, do what I have done and describe why you feel as though your auction was wrongfully removed. It also does not hurt to post links to other same or similar auctions to give the mods a heads up that others are posting the same thing and not getting hassled...so it does not make sense that you should be getting hassled. It could be because you are new is why some people are giving you a hard time (I think that is why I was getting hassled...).

I have issues with my auctions getting flagged sometimes too and it does not make sense. Why dont people flag the Dr. Pepper codes, or the person who keeps posting auctions with the DJ Hero 2 Tiestro pack (free from Coke just for signing up, you can get as many codes as you want with a single account)?

In my opinion, the 48 hour xbox gold passes and avatar props are at least worth some money. All these Dr. Pepper codes and DJ Hero 2 Tiestro pack codes (not to mention the coupons for free beverages and other things that people auction off) that people auction off are pretty much worthless codes as they can actually be obtained freely with little effort.

It makes no sense to me and I am sorry to hear that you have issues. I googled about the Adidas outfits and was able to find some info that seemed to point to *some* people were able to get them for free, but it seemed like a random thing through email from Microsoft (not anyone can easily just obtain one). And I noticed that people are selling them and trading them on other sites...so they do have a value and people do want them... That sucks you keep getting flagged. I am not sure, I am pretty new too here myself...

I know you can post comments, flag auctions, and submit requests on the "Help" page...that is about all I know about. I wish there were a page that let users know who the mods/admins were, and which were currently online so that a user in need could private message one if necessary.

I wish I knew more... I looked around the site for hours a couple days ago trying to find a way to message an admin, and found nothing other than the "Submit a Request" page. :-/
