I have quick formatted and tested the unit on a 7-In-1 Media Card Reader and it reads and transfers files perfectly. BTW, these little puppies are fast...3600 RPMs. Literally, these cards are tiny hard drives.They are often referred to as a 1-inch hard disk designed to fit in a CompactFlash (CF) Type II slot. Many of these drives 4GB and larger are often embedded in Pocket hard drives, "high end" mobile phones, music players, and other entertainment devices Keep in mind that dropping these drives has the potential to damage them, so take care when transporting them.
