LOL : ) ... a group of us gals play a secret swap game every month. It's the brain child of Miss Tara (ribbitribbit26) . It's sort of like when you were in grade school (or your kids) & they had to buy a Christmas gift for their classroom gift exchange. : D

First there is a sign-up form we each have to fill-out. We make a "wish list" of reasonable things we like or would love to have (nothing like diamonds or $100 bills! LOL:)
Next we wait for Tara to give us a secret partner.
Then we shop for that person here on Listia or even buy things at a store. We know the person we are shopping for but it remains a SECRET for the FUN of it!!
EXAMPLE: I do NOT know who is shopping for me~ it's such FUN!!

For the January swap, I signed-up my daughter who is pregnant & she has received some pretty neat stuff for the baby!!!!!!
Receiving goodies in the mail is like getting Christmas gifts from a REAL SANTA!! LOL:)

I am not sure if you could still get in on the fun for our Feb. swap or not but you could ask Miss Tara. If not, you can let her know that you are DEF. interested in getting in on the March one! <3

My wish list is for anything to do with scrapbooks. I have a 21 month old granddaughter that I am beginning to build a SB for and this week I found out my daughter is now carrying my first grandson for me. So I need both boy and girl SB stuff. I also just bought a Quickutz squeeze tool on Ebay but it does not have any dies if anyone had any they did not use it would be great.

This is a very cute auction...I do not see why it would be flagged..Personally I did flag a bunch of auctions by one person at one point but that was because they were all exact duplicates off of ebay down to the pictures and discriptions..and it was a brand new user. I was not the only one who noticed and they actually found out that it was a scam artist..when it something like that then its a good thing but if its something like this...people are probably mad that they are bidding on stuff and people are just giving it away..they need to let it go...Again this is so cute..Good luck.

ty : ) More auctions are /were listed & won here on Listia for the swaps VERSUS things that were given away, so it DID encourage more listings! And YES, there IS a problem with people coming on Listia to win things for free & then taking them over to feebay & SELLING them, as I have had someone do this to me & when I found out about it & gathered all the proof, I let all my Listia friends know & I blocked her from bidding on my future auctions. I'm sorry but that is just wrong! Some members here DEPEND on Listia to get clothes for their kids & necessities & here this person was- out-bidding them so she could win & go sell it on feebay!!! ...But as far as people flagging many auctions here on Listia~ I just don't know. It's just not very nice if they are doing it to established sellers. Simple fact is... people make MISTAKES & if the seller is established enough, then a warning should be put in place to give the seller time to make corrections before just yanking the auction. Established sellers support Listia, period. ... And they should be trusted enough to fix a mistake before deleting their auction. It's just the right thing to do. : )

I grew up on my grandparents farm, so chickens & roosters = HOME to me LOL:) ...But since I've gotten married, we have kinda made Cape May our home away from home & we go there as often as we can, sometimes 6 times a year when we are lucky & so our permanant home here in PA just reflects that we are beach bums to the core LOL:) & so everything here is done in a soft relaxed beachy cottage feel. It's such a relaxing & comfortable way to live~ we LOVE it! I keep wanting to paint a sign & hang it above an archway that says ... ALWAYS ON VACATION ...

& replace the "S" in ALWAYS with a seahorse & replace the "O" in VACATION with a sand dollar.
Just one of many ideas I don't have time to create LOL:)

I fanned you & will be wayching your auction, I have several young nieces that LOVE to color and I LOVE to color with them...VERY relaxing!
