This set belonged to my Mom. It was a Birthday Gift to her from my Dad. She loves Purple. She put the set away for a Special occasion. After Dad died, she left them in her drawer. He's been gone now for over 28 years & about a Month or so ago, she asked me to take the set, (full knowing it wasn't my style) & told me to" put it on the Computer & Get something for yourself"~~
At my Mom's suggestion, I'm offering to you a New, Old Stock, Monet, Necklace & Earring set. The stones are all prong set & are a faux, Amethyst lucite. The earrings are for pierced ears. The settings are Silvertone & marked Monet, on the necklace. The necklace measures just about 17 ", with a Shepherds hook clasp. They were made in the early 1980's.
The Purple color changes with the light & is almost "creamy " at times. Very nice effect & a very nice set. Thank You Mom.
