Three wonderfully gorgeous pendants! All very old & all in remarkably good condition!!
Usually, when you find rhinestones or paste as they were called in their day, the stones have been subjected to moisture of some kind and the dampness has caused darkening of the stones. Most of these stones have a foil backing something like the silvering of old mirrors. When moisture gets between the foil and the glass stones, it ruins the sparkle & darkens the brilliance of the stones distorting their color! When you are lucky enough to find old stones like theses that retain their beauty, you have found a true treasure!
