I don't know. It's plated over alloy. It's just supposed to be a fun piece for twilight fans. I always put a couple coats of clear fingernail polish on the inside of my fashion rings. Then I don't have any problem with them. I'm sensitive to jewelry also. I can't wear watches at all. They stop! LOL
